Most vanilla Minecraft blocks may be used in the construction of runes. Each block has been assigned a tier value based on their rarity and difficulty to obtain, which affects the potency of the rune. Rarer and more valuable materials are usually higher tier, while more common and easy too obtain blocks provide little potency.

Tier 0 blocks (including air) are ignored during rune processing.

* The "options" section provides two requested feature toggles. Compass-old-north was when Notch changed which way North was in the world. This is legacy and likely nobody will need. Recall-weakness is primarily for PvP Servers as the Recall Rune is an easy PvP escape option. This was designed to try balance that by giveing the player 30 seconds of 'weakness' potion debuff after recalling.

For actual permissions using a permission plugin, nodes are as follows. Each individual type of rune has an associated "runecraft.runes.xx" permissions node. All nodes are lowercase and contain no spaces.
