Teleporter

User Information

Teleports the player to a Way-point dependent on a pre-determined signature. (Uses no runic energy.)

Instructions

When constructing the rune make sure the blocks used are of the same or higher Tier as the destination way-point. After constructing the rune, place in the signature blocks. Make sure to place them in the same cardinal directions you did the you did in the way-point signature. The center block can be any block you choose, but not the same as your ink blocks.
Once the teleport rune has been activated the signature blocks will be replaced with stone. You can remove these stone blocks and the rune will still work. If want your signature to stay you can build a Master Teleporter instead by filling in the corners. Note that Master-teleporters do not work vertically in Version 3 of Runecraft.

If you remove any of the ink blocks the teleport rune will stop working but it is not deactivated. You can place the block back (You can do this easily with a sticky piston) and it will work again without having to re-enter the signal-blocks. You can even completely remove the teleport rune. Once your rebuild it in the exact same spot it will work again..

Vertical teleport runes
You can build teleport runes and Waypoints horizontal or vertical. However there is some quirks with how this works. North and South are always Up and Down but sometimes the Left/Right (east/west) of your rune are swapped from your perspective. This has to do with where you are in the world related to the way-point you're trying to target. If your teleport rune does not work try swapping your right and left signature.

Advanced techniques
- Overlap: You can overlap teleport runes because Way-point signatures can have air or Tier 0 blocks in them, you can make several way-points with air in them so that when you build your overlapped teleport rune you can activate them one by one and not override any of the other signals.
